WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING ?

Micro-needling is a dermatological treatment in which a specialised device is used to create tiny pinpricks, or ‘micro-channels’, in the skin – this enables any skincare products subsequently applied to penetrate more deeply for enhanced results.

SHOULD I APPLY ANY PRODUCTS BEFORE USING ?

We recommend using the roller on clean and completely dry skin, after cleansing.

WHERE CAN I USE THE HOME NEEDLING SYSTEM ?

You can use the device on your face, neck and décolletage and hands , moving the roller vertically, horizontally and diagonally. Avoid breakouts or broken skin, as this could cause irritation. Do not needle over eye tissue (although the roller can be used on crow’s feet); just up to the cheekbone and down to the browbone. Do not use on the lips.

HOW LONG SHOULD I USE THE DEVICE FOR ?

Each treatment should last for approximately 15 -20 minutes.

MY SKIN IS RED AFTER USING THE DEVICE IS THIS NORMAL ?

Yes; the device creates ‘micro-injuries’, so your skin might be a little inflamed or tender after use, and any products you apply next could sting.
